Are you and your faithful canine companion a therapy dog team, dedicated to the wonderful work of providing comfort and solace to others? These therapeutic visits take place across a diverse array of settings, from hospitals and nursing homes to veteran support groups, schools, libraries, colleges, and anywhere a friendly therapy dog's presence can bring consolation. Many teams gain invaluable experience interacting with individuals from various backgrounds and populations, sometimes for the very first time. While this exposure is truly beautiful, navigating such interactions can also present challenges. I am here to: - Consult in person/ virtually with you on any therapy dog team questions - Debrief a visit - Discuss any challenging interactions/ barriers to having successful visits My goal is to help your therapy dog team feel supported and empowered, so you can visit more people and help others through the healing powers of the human animal bond all while sharing tail wags with your wonderful therapy dog!
